Khaat
A khaat is a commonly found sleeping furniture across India. A webbed frame is elevated by the four legs using mortise and tenon joints to form a khaat. Sometimes, a cotton cover is stitched and wrapped around the webbed frame to protect webbing from getting soiled.Â
